Careers in Manufacturing Process (Credit: 0.50)

Give your students an appreciation and understanding of manufacturing processes in the 21st century with this Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective for grades 9-12. Throughout the semester-long course, students discover how many technologies and industries operate to produce products that are desirable, affordable, and effective. They also gain an understanding of how the industry continues to identify customer needs. In addition, students have the opportunity to explore what careers are available within the manufacturing industry.

Intro to Careers in Manufacturing (Credit: 0.50)

Familiarize students in grades 9-12 with career options in the manufacturing industry with this Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective. Ignitia Introduction to Careers in Manufacturing starts by exploring the economic effect of manufacturing in the United States and abroad. It then moves on to cover topics including process improvements, safety and regulations, career options, and advanced manufacturing. The semester-long course falls within the manufacturing career cluster.
