California Marketing, Advertising, and Sales (Credit: 0.50)

This one-semester course is intended to help you learn about the scope and importance of marketing, advertising, and sales in a business. This course has eighteen lessons organized into four units. Each unit has a Unit Activity and each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. Additionally, the course ends with has a comprehensive Course Activity. This course will cover various marketing functions, product planning, advertising operations, and the process of selling.

California Sports and Entertainment Marketing (Credit: 0.50)

This one-semester course is intended to help you gain an insight into the field of sports, entertainment, and recreation marketing. This course has 16 lessons organized into four units, plus four Unit Activities. Each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. Additionally, there is one Course Activity that you need to work on throughout the duration of the course. This activity is a long-term project spread over the length of the course. The due date for this activity is to be determined by the course instructor

Florida Marketing Essentials A (Credit: 0.50)

This one-semester course is intended to help you gain familiarity with the fundamentals of the business and marketing worlds. This course has 14 lessons organized into 4 units. Each unit has a Unit Activity, and each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. Unit Activity 4 is a long-term project that you willwork on throughout the duration of the course. As part of this course, every student has to join a student organization, such as FBLA and BPA, and be an active participant in all events and projects of the organization. As a member of a student organization, you should: Participate in all the activities of the student organization you choose to join. Keep a record of your participation in meetings, programs, and projects. Take notes about the history, purposes, and goals of the student organization. Identify the benefits and responsibilities of membership in the student organization as a student and in professional or civic organizations as an adult. Use a computer to record the information above and process it to create a slide presentation. At the end of this semester (as part of Unit Activity 4), you will create and submit the slide presentation describing the points above. This course explains the importance of essential career skills, such aspositive work ethics, integrity, and self-representation. It also discussesfunctions of marketing and advertising functions. The course also explains the importance of segmentation, positioning, and marketing research in advertising. In addition, the course emphasizes the significance of advertising and marketing campaigns; leadership and conflict management; time, task, and resource management; and teamwork in a workplace.

Florida Marketing Essentials B (Credit: 0.50)

This one-semester course is intended to help you gain familiarity with the fundamentals of the business and marketing worlds. This course has 15lessons organized into 3units. Each unit has a Unit Activity, and each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. This course explains the importance of positive work ethics, integrity, and self-representation in a workplace. It also discusses the scope and impact of various marketing functions on advertising. The course explains the importance of segmentation, positioning, and marketing research in advertising. In addition, the course emphasizes the significance of advertising and marketing campaigns; leadership and conflict management; time, task, and resource management; and teamwork in a workplace.

Sport, Entertainment, & Recreational Marketing (Credit: 0.50)

This course is designed to enable all students at the high school level to develop skills they will need to be successful in sports, entertainment, and recreational marketing professions. Students learn about the structure of a business firm and financial statements. Students also learn about the basics of sports, entertainment, and recreation marketing. Finally, students explore essential career skills, such as teamwork and time management. This course covers topics such as marketing staples, mapping markets, marketing communication, and making the sale. The course is based on Career Technical Education (CTE) standards designed to help students prepare for entry into a wide range of careers in sports, entertainment, and recreational marketing field.

Texas Advertising (Credit: 0.50)

This one-semester course is intended to help you learn about the scope and importance of marketing, advertising, and sales in a business. This course has 15 lessons organized into three units. Each unit has a Unit Activity and each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. This course will cover various marketing functions, product planning, advertising operations, and the process of selling.

Texas Sports and Entertainment Marketing (Credit: 0.50)

This one-semester course is intended to help you gain insight into the field of sports, entertainment, and recreation marketing. This course has 16 lessons organized into 4 units, plus 4 Unit Activities. Each lesson contains one or more Lesson Activities. Additionally, there is one Course Activity at the end of the course. This course covers fundamental concepts in sports, entertainment, and recreation marketing. It also covers essential skills related to advertising, sponsorship, and marketing campaigns. In addition, the course covers crucial workplace skills, such as teamwork and leadership skills.
